Principles

Registering to GEDIS Studio Online provides you with a private workspace on our servers for storing all the data files involved in your test data generation projects. You also have access to shared data such as reference data (many list files) or sample test data generator projects.

All you need to manage your projects and produce your data is a Web browser. Your workspace is available anytime from anywhere and you can even ask for a company's shared workspace to share your projects with only a subset of registered users making a community around you.

When you choose to start the actual production of your test data-set, the request is sent to the GenieLog servers. When the test data generation is over you can browse the data and eventually download them.

Technical Requirements

GEDIS Studio Online is a Web 2.0 application that executes as a cross browser compatible Javascript code in your web browser.

Best experience should be obtained with the latest Firefox browsers. Some issue are known with Internet Explorer 9+, if you experience strange behavior please activate the compatibility mode or switch to Firefox or Chrome.

How to start?

First, Register an Account

By registering an account on the Online Test Data Generator you create your private workspace and gain accesss to the application itself and the shared libraries.

Registration is Free, all you need is a (long term) valid eMail to create a free workspace with 3 Mb of data allocated. If you need more, then ask for regular paid account.

Second, logon the application

From there, you can produce data from your own designed generators or the ones made available in the shared library.
